What an order keeps, where, and for how long.

At a glance: Stripe holds your payment details; ILAI keeps your name, address and what you bought in your account’s order history. This website itself stores nothing about you. A lab result is health information and is handled under the consumer health data privacy policy, never as part of an order.

What this notice covers

This notice covers store.ilai.health and orders placed there. It is from ILAI Health, Inc. (“ILAI”, “we”, “us”). The website privacy notice covers get.ilai.health; the privacy notice for ILAI accounts and the consumer health data privacy policy cover the health information inside an ILAI account.

What an order keeps

When you buy, Stripe collects your card details, billing address and, for items that ship, your shipping address, on its own secure page. Stripe holds your payment details; ILAI never sees or stores your full card number.

ILAI keeps your name, email address, shipping address, what you bought, what you paid, Stripe’s references for the payment, and the status of the order (paid, shipped, refunded). For a member, this sits in your account’s order history. For an order that does not belong to a member, it is kept with the order alone.

Where it lives

  • Stripe processes the payment and sales tax, and keeps the card and the receipt. Stripe’s own privacy policy applies to what it holds.
  • ILAI’s server, hosted on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, keeps the order record described above.
  • Cloudflare hosts this website and passes your order request to Stripe. Hosting involves standard server logs, such as IP address and time of request, used to run and secure the site.
  • Resend delivers the emails about your order.
  • Our laboratory partner receives the name, shipping address and the panel for a lab item, so the kit can be shipped and the sample run. What the partner receives about you is health information and is covered by the consumer health data privacy policy.
  • Google Fonts serves the site’s typefaces, so your browser contacts Google when a page loads.

How we use it

To fulfil and support your order, to issue refunds, to meet tax and accounting obligations, and, for a member, to show the order in your account. We do not sell it, share it for advertising or use it to train AI.

How long we keep it

Order records are kept for as long as tax and accounting law requires, normally seven years, and then deleted. If you delete your ILAI account, the order record stays with the order for that period but is no longer linked to an account.

Your choices

To see, correct or delete what we hold about an order, email info@ilai.health from the address you ordered with. A record we must keep for tax reasons is kept for that reason only.

Children

The store is for adults. It is not directed at anyone under 18.

Changes

If this notice changes, we will update the text and the date at the top.
